BRITISH 10k LONDON – Sunday 13th July 2014

The Ulysses Trust again has a number of places for the British 10k London event, run annually in July by over 20,000 participants through the historic sites of London. See the British 10K website. It has traditionally focused on raising support for charities.

We would like to invite all members of the UK’s Reserves and Cadets, and others who support them, to participate and help raise funds for the Ulysses Trust. If you have been part of a Reserve Forces or Cadet expedition supported by the Ulysses Trust in the past, you might especially welcome the chance to raise our profile and help raise funds so that we can continue to support others coming after you.

The cost of a place in this great event is just £50, which will also get runners a Ulysses Trust T-shirt to keep, and a timing chip. On completion, runners also receive a souvenir medallion and a photo of them crossing the finishing line. Runners normally raise sponsorship of £250 – £500, but many raise substantially more.

Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come – first served basis. We would be grateful if you would help the Ulysses Trust and circulate this great opportunity to your colleagues.  Those wishing to participate should email philip.neame@s521101731.websitehome.co.uk.

Last year, we provided support to over 2400 cadets and volunteer reservists on 126 different expeditions around the world. If you can’t run it, encourage a friend, or maybe sponsor someone who is – visit our British 10K fundraising page and click DONATE!
