Ulysses Trust Summer 2014 Newsletter

It’s that time of year again where we publish our Summer Newsletter containing all sorts of news and information about the Ulysses Trust and the outstanding adventurous training activities and expeditions that we have supported over the last few months.

In this edition we feature three expeditions namely 4 Para powering their way to victory in the Spanish foothills; City of Edinburgh UOTC’s underwater encounters in Cyprus; and some topside nautical tales from CCF Cadet Angus Lapslie who after only a few months as a Cadet found himself in the Irish Sea on board a 67 foot racing yacht heading for Oban in a Force 7.

Amongst a swathe of other news, we also have an interesting Chairman’s Comment (as always!) discussing the latest developments within the Ulysses Trust, news of the appointments of Sarah Rawlings and Dr Rod Stables to our Board of Trustees, and a light hearted focus on Phil Neame to find out what makes our illustrious founder tick.
