Since 1992 we have granted almost £1.8M to over 21,000 Cadets and Reservists participating in adventurous training and expeditions around the world.
To help us to do more to support Cadet units in particular in the future, we recently ran a survey to find out what you think about the Ulysses Trust, about Adventurous Training in general, and also about the challenges that you face in mounting expeditions. This survey closed on the 11th May, and we will publish our findings post analysis of the data.
Our objectives for the survey were:
• To enable us to present a better case for funds to financial supporters of the Ulysses Trust, and as a result offer more generous financial support to unit expeditions.
• To establish the potential desire or need of units to undertake expeditions, so that we can plan longer term to ensure we can support this.
• To help, where possible, perhaps working with others, to make it easier for cadets to mount or participate in expeditions.
In return for your time, the generous people at Intelligent Pelican kindly donated an Intelligent Pelican adventure travel kit worth £125 to be awarded to one lucky participant who completed the survey.
