Summer Newsletter 2015

Ulysses Trust Newsletter - Summer 2015.pdf - Adobe Reader_2

Nothing says summer more than relaxing on the lawn with the sounds of the village cricket match in the distance, the latest test match on the radio, a glass of something cool by your side, and the latest edition of the Ulysses Trust summer newsletter to enthrall you with exploits of derring-do in far flung lands.

Indeed, this edition is no exception with an outstanding expedition report by Captain Tania Noakes who led the first military expedition ever to cross the European Alps in one season. We also focus on 1998 (West Cross) Squadron ATC, who headed off on a 9 day expediton to Kiruna in northern Sweden where they encountered some fearsome dogs who took them on the ride of their lives. The Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry also make an appearance dominating the landscape in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

Other highlights within this edition include a focus on Dr Rod Stables, a Trustee and longstanding supporter of the Ulysses Trust; we congratulate Lt Col James Clevely on his election as an MP; our Chairman reflects on the fact that one is never too old to learn; and last but not least we announce the winners of the Ulysses Trust expeditionary awards.

So without further ado, I commend to you the Ulysses Trust Summer 2015 newsletter. If you are seated comfortably, click here to begin.
