Bjordalsbu to Sulebu. 30km, 7 1/2hrs. Physically a little easier today but still bitterly cold. Started hauntingly beautiful… skied out my last few hours with Joker through immaculate untouched white mountains… to Breitstølen Fjellstue. Erland Gray, Joker’s boss met me to take Joker home. Joker was so excited to see him- it was wonderful to see him so happy! I think he immediately forgot about me…😔 A hug and quick chat with Erland and then off again towards Sulebu, alone again. I made good time, the hard cold has made the skiing much faster. I’m penetrating 5-10cm not the 20-30 of a few days ago! Joker we had it hard… it’s the weekend so what a pleasure to reach the cabin at sunset and find it warm and occupied by a group of four Norwegian ladies! Not alone after all… 😊
