Storestølen to Bjordalsbu. 30km 8 1/2hrs. Today was a cold, cold day… clear skies from dawn until dusk and a big move north to make. About 1000m of climbing today as well, in two main sections, the first immediately up above storestølen fjellstuga and the second up high and deep into the Skarheimen mountains. Only one short lunch break…and the rest of the time steady breaking trail. Both Joker and I were a little tired today and were glad to reach Bjordalsbu DNT cabin at dusk as temperatures plummeted. The Jotenheim peaks glowing pink on the horizon! -16C at dusk… forecast says down to-21C tonight
