BAE Systems – Corporate Donor

BAE SystemsThe Ulysses Trust is proud to be supported by BAE Systems  – a global defence, aerospace and security company. As a corporate donor, BAE Systems recognises the valuable contribution we make to the lives of young people across the UK. BAE Systems’ contribution enables us to support even more cadets and reservists to embark on life-changing expeditions.

Here is a sample of the type of expeditions supported by the Ulysses Trust, thanks to funding from BAE Systems and our other supporters and donors.

13 Reservists from 32 Signal Regiment set-off to Peru to experience a once in a lifetime adventure of self-discovery.

The expedition pushed all participants beyond their own conscious and subconscious limits.

In June 2017, a crew including of six Reservists from the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry took part in an expedition to sail the Royal Armoured Corps Yacht Club boat, Yacht Ajax, from Gosport to Barmouth in Wales. One Reservists remarked, “It was a unique opportunity and I learned a great deal about sailing and working within the confines of the boat, and also about how the weather can make things particularly difficult.”

Needless to say, we are tremendously grateful for the ongoing and significant contribution BAE Systems has made to the Ulysses Trust.

Thank you.
